The BIYMF Teacher Referral Program recognises and rewards music teachers who support their students’ participation in the festival. It’s simple, transparent, and designed to celebrate the teachers who inspire the next generation of musicians.

How it works

  • Register as a Teacher

    Complete the Teacher Registration Form to join the program.

    2. Receive Your Referral Code

    Each teacher receives a personalised code (e.g., TEACHER‑ANNA).

    3. Share Your Code With Students

    Students enter your code during their BIYMF/PRESTO application.

    4. Students Receive a 10% Discount

    Every student using your code receives a 10% discount on their entry fee (optional: up to $15 maximum).

    This makes participation more accessible and shows parents that you are supporting their musical journey.

    5. You Earn Points

    Each referred student = 1 point Points unlock exclusive teacher rewards.

  • Redeem Rewards Points can be exchanged for exclusive teacher benefits.

No — teacher registration is free.

Yes. Students register individually, but teachers may guide them through the process.

Teachers receive a copy of their students’ adjudication reports.

4. Can international teachers join?

Yes — BIYMF and PRESTO welcome teachers worldwide.

5. Do teachers need to attend the Winners Concert?

Attendance is optional, but teachers are warmly invited.
